Kinja'd!!!

I'm pretty excited. Any Oppos have recommendations for fun things do in Munich and/or Prague? My friend and I also selected an Audi A1 (or similar) for our rental car, so expect an Oppo review of whatever funky Euro thing we get.

I've heard Prague has a halfway decent Philharmonic Orchestra. Can't remember what it's called...

Yeah I saw that on their website. I'm couldn't really figure out exactly what it is. Some sort of exhibition space?

Give me call when you are there, maybe we can meet for a drink?

The Deutsches Museum has a little vintage car collection and some other nice mechanical stuff. Their high voltage show is also nice. Seeing a man in a Faraday cage being struck by lightning is cool.

The Hofbräuhaus is on most tourists' to do list, and they know that. Walk through it to see it but there are better places to enjoy Bavarian food and drink within walking distance. Like the Weisses Brauhaus from Schneider Weisse, best Schweinshaxn in town.

Pretty boring when they aren't hosting an event. It's just across the street from the BMW headquarters, so it's no big deal to take a quick stroll.

I'd definitely be down for grabbing a drink with you! I'll be with one friend but I know he'd want to as well. What's the best way to get in touch? Thanks for the recommendations by the way.

It's been almost 10 years (...somehow...) since I was in Munich, but we went to the Hofbräuhaus (which was super exciting to a bunch of high school kids who could suddenly drink, but maybe is a meh for adults). There's a really cool clock in the central square, but I have no idea where it was or what it's called anymore. We got dinner one night at Ratskeller. We were there like two or three days, but that's the only meal I remember. I also know we went to the Olympic grounds, and climbed a clock/bell tower (can't remember which) but it had nice views, but was sorta boring otherwise. We also went to Dachau, since it's not that far from Munich.
